7 Easy Steps to Measure Yourself
Follow each step carefully. Take your time and write down every measurement.
Chest
Wrap the tape around the widest part of your chest, just under your armpits. Keep the tape flat and level across your back. Arms down at your sides, breathe normally — don't puff out or suck in. Write down the number.
Shoulders
Stand straight with relaxed shoulders. Place the tape at the edge of one shoulder bone, stretch it across your back to the other shoulder. Keep the tape flat and straight — don't let it dip down your back.
Waist
Find your natural waist — just above the belly button. Wrap the tape around snugly, not tight. Stand straight and don't suck in. Write down the number.
Sleeve Length
Place the tape at the edge of your shoulder bone and measure down to your wrist bone with your arm relaxed at your side. Measure both arms and use the longer measurement.
Inseam
Stand straight with legs slightly apart. Place the tape at the top of your inner thigh, right where it meets your body. Measure straight down to your ankle bone. Keep the tape straight.
Neck
Wrap the tape around the base of your neck, where a shirt collar would sit. Leave enough room to slide two fingers between the tape and your neck for comfort. Keep the tape flat, not tilted.
Height & Weight
Stand straight against a wall without shoes. Use a book or ruler flat on your head to mark the top. Measure from the floor to the mark. Use a scale for your weight. These numbers help fine-tune your overall fit and jacket length.
