What's your jeans waist size?

How do I find my waist size?
Check the tag on your favorite pair of jeans — it's the first number (e.g., in "32x30", your waist is 32). If you're between sizes, choose the size that fits most comfortably. This is the foundation for calculating your suit pants and jacket size. Suit waist sizes differ from jeans, but our calculator handles the conversion automatically.
Height & Weight
Help us determine your proportions
Why do you need my height and weight?
Your height determines your jacket length — Short (under 5'7"), Regular (5'7"–6'0"), or Long (over 6'0"). Weight helps our AI understand your build and body proportions, which affects the jacket chest size and fit recommendation. Weight is optional — if skipped, we'll estimate from your waist size.

How does body type affect my suit size?
Shoulders: Broader shoulders may need a larger jacket size to avoid pulling at the chest, while slimmer shoulders work better with a more tapered cut. Stomach: A rounder midsection affects how the jacket buttons close — our AI adjusts the fit to ensure a comfortable, flattering drape without pulling. This step is optional but improves accuracy by 10-15%.

How do I measure my neck and sleeve?
Shirt Fit: Slim Fit shirts are tapered and sit closer to the body — best for athletic or lean builds. Regular Fit has more room through the chest and waist. Neck: Wrap a measuring tape around the base of your neck where a shirt collar sits, add half an inch for comfort. Sleeve: Measure from the center of the back of your neck, across the shoulder, down to your wrist bone. Don't know these? Skip this step and our AI will calculate them from your other measurements.

How do I know my jacket size?
Jacket Size: Your suit jacket size is based on your chest measurement in inches. To measure, wrap a tape around the fullest part of your chest under your arms. Common sizes range from 36 (slim build) to 52+ (larger build). Jacket Length: Short (S) is for men under 5'7", Regular (R) for 5'7"–6'0", and Long (L) for 6'1" and above. If you're unsure, skip this step — our AI will calculate both from your height and weight.

Slim vs Modern — what's the difference?
Slim Fit: A contemporary, tailored silhouette that sits closer to the body. Best for weddings, prom, and occasions where you want a sharp, modern look. Works well on athletic and lean builds. Modern Fit: A comfortable, classic cut with more room in the chest and waist. Ideal for business settings, all-day events, or anyone who prefers a relaxed feel without sacrificing style. Both fits are available in every suit and tuxedo we sell.
